Who would say that the cabin of the "Miguel de Unamuno" would end up on a private property in Carcelén (north of the city of Quito). The afternoon of November 9, 2007, Iberia flight 6463 landed on runway 35 at the old Quito Airport in adverse weather conditions and the giant A340-600 went out by 232 meters from the end of runway 35 at a speed of 92 knots. The plane was damaged beyond economic repair and it was broken up in 2008.
