Private owners from 1995, Classic Wings 2002. Destroyed in suspected arson attack at Bruchsal 9 September 2011. A small donation had helped to fire up the Antonov and taxi it into a photogenic position.

K25 slide scan. Delivered in 1958 to East German Air Force as "422". Converted in 1965 to photograpic aircraft by addition of a ventral pod. Retired and officially transferred to Interflug as DDR-SAM by January 1983. Almost certainly not used as such but flown to the MfS (Ministry of State Security) airfield at Eilenburg in December 1983 for use as anti terrorist ground trainer. Decaying over the years , it was aquired after reunification by the Luftwaffenmuseum at Berlin Gatow for restoration. Image shows the immense wingspan of an Il-14 of almost 32 metres.
