Operated as a transport aircraft on routes in the South West Pacific. Fully civilianised with a 26 seat cabin during 1946. On September 30, 1947 transferred to National Airways Corporation as ZK-AMG to continue services to Fiji. Returned to the RNZAF in May 1949 but not taken on charge again until February 1951.
