Baldwin Airport is 44 miles north of Toronto near the town of Sutton and the southshore of lake Simcoe. The airport was probably established in the mid-1930s as the first emergency landing field north of Toronto on the Trans-Canada Airway route between Toronto and North Bay. Today it's home for a couple dozen light aircraft and ultralights, and home for the Parachute School of Toronto pictured in the background of this photo.
