One of the nicer sights visible from the flyover between airport and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The Flogger was inducted in No. 10 Sqn. "Winged Daggers", which operated the same from Jan. 1981 to Dec. 1993. Other IAF units to operate the type were No. 220 Sqn. "Desert Tigers", No. 31 Sqn. "Lions" and No. 221 Sqn. "Valiants", the last unit to phase out their BNs in March 2009. The BN was used in Op Safed Sagar during the Kargil War to strike Pakistani positions on mountain tops.
