This O-1C has BuNo 151776 and was delivered to the USN on 31 October 1963. The USN, however, never used this Bird Dog as it was immediately struck of charge the next day to be handed over to South Korea. This took place later in November 1963. For that reason it also received a USAF serial (63-12741), which was never carried on the aircraft. The South Korean Navy operated the aircraft under serial 51776. Since 2015, it is preserved at the gate of Pohang NAS as part of the 6th Air Wing collection.

Although 25 Lynx' are delivered to South Korea between 1990 and 2000, they are a rare breed to see. This Mk99A was first seen with Westland at Yeovilton (UK) as ZJ551 in May 2000. It was one of the last delivered Lynx to the 62 Maritime Helicopter Group, 629 Flight Squadron of the Daehan Minguk Haegun (Republic of Korea Naval Aviation) at Jinhae naval base.

After it had been withdrawn from use it was placed near the gate of the South Korean Naval Air Base of Pohang, together with an impressive line up of several other, mostly former Korean Navy, aircraft. The data block of this aircraft shows this is 66-7715, but 67-715 also was a RoKAF F-4D. So this aircraft could be a composite.
