Ex 55 and 255, this Flying Life Boat was reserialled as V115 in October 1934, shortly before CGAS Salem opened. From 1933 to 1936, the Coast Guard's aircraft also wore names of stars, and the absence of its name Arcturus would date this beautiful shot from 1936. The type was retired in August 1941.
