This aircraft is seen here as "Gelbe 6" of 3./JG1 Captured by Allies at Leck, Germany in May 1945 as "Rote 6" (2./JG1) and taken to the UK. It went to Farnborough for testing as "AM68" but actually it never flew. After withdrawal it was taken to RAF Cranwell in August 1946 where it was put on display/storage. In 1960 it was handed over to the Imperial War Museum. It was restored becoming "Gelbe 6".
