This airplane was initially a Morane 130 and owned by the famous aerobatic French pilot Michel Detroyat during the 30's. It was completely transformed, fitted with a new Hispano Suiza engine and then became the MS 234/2, Michel Detroyat's exclusive model, with which he participated in numerous events in France and America until 1938. This pic is supposed to have been taken between 1933 & 1935 in Toulouse -Montaudran airfield. Thanks to Raphael W. who permit to have it in my collection and share this rare photo.

The Latécoère 490 was a two-seat, single-engined designed to be a photographic reconnaissance aircraft for French air force. He was not selected. Only two prototypes were built. The Latécoère 490 was originally known and painted as the 49.0 as it is on the pic. The second prototype was the 491 version. Thanks to Raphael W. who permit to share this very rare photo.

replica of the Salmson 2A2 biplane at the L'Envol des Pionniers museum on the former grounds of Toulouse-Montaudran Airport. Aircraft of this type started the famous French Airmail Services in winter 1918 and mark the very beginning of Toulouse as a centre of aviation industry.
