Delivered to the USAAF as 43-49408 then to the RAF as KK114 in 1944. To Starways as G-AMPY in 1952. Air Jordan as JY-ABE in 1957 and returned to Starways as G-AMPY in 1958. To Icelandair as TF-FIO in 1964, Back to G-AMPY in 1965 then to N15751 in 1968. To Intra Airways as G-AMPY in 1970, Jersey European in 1980 and Air Atlantique in 1982. Still current on the register in 2021 owned by Heritage Air Services,

This Air Atlantique DC-3 was painted into this beautiful old Northwest Airlines livery in the mid-1980s. It is marked with fake registration NW21711, having no civil use in the USA in its past history.

First registered in June 1951. Was at Santa Monica to be auctioned. Painted as Northwest Airlines but never operated for that airline.

For a short while G-AMPY was marked up in Northwest colours. Not sure why?
