Originally built in Sutton Coldfield by R C Streather and flown pre-war at Walsall. New fuselage constructed by Bob Ogden to replace the original which had been converted into a motor-cycle side-car! Sold to G Riley (yes me!) and re-painted blue. Sold mid-1970s to Roger Windley of Tattershall Thorpe. Found its way to Don Campbell's collection at Brodhead, Wisconsin, where I saw it in 2012. Believed to have been sold by Don to the Lane Motor Museum but that is not confirmed.

Temporarily registered as G-5-11, before it was sold as VT-DHD to Indian Airlines in 1955. Bought by Aerocontacts (Aircraft Distributors) Ltd. on 6 October 1964 and registered G-ASXA. To Flying Facilities Ltd, Gatwick, 24 September 1965. Canx from register 8 September 1966 on sale to Hawaiian Air Tour Service (HATS) as N16720. Sold to Albany Aero Club LLC, Albany, Oregon in 2013, but cancelled from the register on 28 February 2018.

As USAAF C-47A 42-24211 it served in North Africa and Europe before civilianised as F-BEFA in 1948, flying for CATA, Aigle Azur, Air Atlas, Air Maroc, Royal Air Maroc as CN-CCL and the Royal Moroccan Air Force as CN-ALM/20669. Sold to Euroworld California in 1978 as N54607, it was stored at Backbushe before sale to Keenair at Liverpool where it was again stored, until sale in 1989 to Cherkley Aviation as G-BPMP and ferried to Coventry. A planned full restoration was stalled and it was broken up in 1995, but its nose section lives on at the Luchtvaart Hobby Shop near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

G.E.C.(Coventry) Flying Club, named "Gentle Annie", w/o 2 Oct 1965 in a fatal accident at Shawell Lodge Farm, Lutterworth Road, Shawell, Lutterworth, Leicesterahire. Wreckage returned to Baginton, Coventry. Registration G-ANHI cancelled as "destroyed" 22 Nov 1965. Dismantled airframe acquired in 'cache of spares' in 2016 by Andrew Barton. Re-registered 23 April 2017 to Andrew David Barton, St Columb, Cornwall; stored in 2018 pending long-term rebuild.

Two DC-3s arrived at Coventry during the spring of 1969, with the former Faroe Airways OY-DNC (rear) landing on March 8 as N4296, while N15751 (once G-AMPY with Irelfly) appeared on April 5. Together with Beech 18 N15750, these aircraft were expected to fly for an unknown locally-based operator, but following a fire on April 15 N4296 was used for spares before being broken up. N15751 was sold to Intra Airways in Jersey and restored as G-AMPY. She would return to Coventry in later years as part of the Air Atlantique Dakota fleet.

Rig Air flew in support of the North Sea oil and gas industry. It merged with Anglian Air Charter and Norfolk Airways c.1970 to form Air Anglia.

Former Faroe Airways OY-DNC arrived on March 8 1969 as N4296 but following a fire on April 15 1969 it was used for spares before being broken up. Built in 1946 as NC34966 with c/n 42962 , it became OY-DCO SAS "Tor Viking", "Orm Viking", SE-CFT, OY-DNC Danish Aero Lease/Faroe Airways, finally N4296 of Aviation Enterprises.

Ex - N4199D. This aircraft crashed on take-off from Gwaenysgor, Flintshire, Wales, on 29th June 1971, and is said to have been parted out at Stockport, Greater Manchester, in December 1975, with the parts parts exported to the Oklahoma City Aircraft Corp. in the USA in 1977. The registration was cancelled by the CAA as destroyed in May 1984.

This is an AIA - built example as proved by the c/n 1047, ex F-BNMC. owned by David Parfrey at the time. Still current and owned by Stampe Club magazine edior Austin Trueman Originally registered to Twentieth Century Fox Productions for use in "The Blue Max" on 09-09-1965, it was sold to the Liverpool Aero Club on 27-02-1967 who in turn sold it to David Parfrey at the end of August 1971, being registered on 30-09-1971 before being sold in December 1972.

Painted for Aerolineas Argentinas but not delivered. Instead, this aircraft was leased to Airzena Georgian Airways as 4L-TGN before returning to the UK in 2011. It was broken up at Bournemouth in August 2018, the fuselage then being transported to Kemble for final scrapping.

Ex NC65266, NC6K, N88Y, and G-BMCR, later became HB-ISC but now flies as N431HM with Hugo Mathys' Classic Formation out of Grenchen in Switzerland.

Wearing 130 Sqdn code and incorrect serial RM619 (Actually RM689 - Re-applied later in its life).
