Hamburg Airport Classics 2007

The prototype of the Fokker F.II, German c/n 4056, Dutch c/n 1500. From 1920 it was used as a research aircraft by the Netherlands civil aviation authority, RSL, without a registration - they could get away with that! Only in 1931 it was registered PH-RSL. Registration cancelled in 1936. Aircraft was bought back by Fokker and painted as early KLM machine H-NABC. Photo taken at airshow at Schiphol in 1938. Came in for a few sightseeing flights above the Northern part of Holland.

Air to Air while departing Lelystad for Hamburg. This side of F-AZTE is painted in full KLM c/s, with the painted registration taped off. The other side is in full Air France c/s.

With Air France colours on the other side.

With old KLM colours on this side, but has Air France colours and "F-BBBE" on the other side.

In March 2015 HK-3993P was painted in KLM colours with fake registration PH-RBA, to celebrate that on 28 March 2015 KLM introduced direct flights between Amsterdam and Cali. When I asked the museum staff about that reg, they explained they knew there already was a PH-PBA. Due to the full hangar in the Fenix Museum it is difficult to get clear shots.

Was rolled-out from the paintshop in these new colours only a few days earlier, on 13 November 2006. It has old Air France colours as "F-BBBE" on the other side.
