The SAAF used floation gears on the Pumas operating in coastal areas. This line up at AFB Ysterplaat shows Pumas from 30 Squadron that operated the type alongside the Super Frelon. 30 Sqd was originally a WW2 bomber unit flying Martin Marauders. It was reformed in 1980 and then disbanded in 1991 when it was absorbed into 22 Squadron.
