Formation landing of two Swiss beauties, with J-4130 as the wingman. The lead aircraft, J-4129 is former RAF serial XF992. It was delivered to the Flugwaffe on 25 July 1974 and withdrawn from service on 16 August 1990. It was scrapped at Meiringen by mid-1995.

This Hunter made its first flight as an F.Mk6 variant with RAF serial XE526 on 11 October 1955. It was modiefied by Hawker Siddley in 1957 to F58-standard. The aircraft was delivered to Switzerland on 15 December 1958. It was retired by the Flugwaffe, on 29 August 1994. Sadly, the Hunter was soon after its retirment scrapped at Interlaken (Switzerland).

Former Royal Netherlands Air Force Hunter with serial N-318 was sold to Switzerland on 16 March 1973. The aircraft became operational on 16 August 1974 and was withdrawn from use in 1990. The Hunter was scrapped in July 1990.

Staffel badges on Hunters were quite rare. The badge of Fl St 4 was one of the rarest. This is the only Hunter I ever saw with this badge on the nose.

This Hunter sports the badge of FlSt 4, which was not often seen on a Hunter. The aircraft now resides 50 meters away from this spot, on a pole.
