This is former RAF Hunter F6 XE541 (built in 1956). It was delivered to the Swiss AF in 1958, and struck of charge there in December 1994. It was preserved at the museum in Payerne later, but seen outside the museum in 2014. By 2024, it had been moved to the other side of the airbase where I saw it, with some parts missing, on a ramp which also has the training objects of the fire brigade.

1993 brought the last Wiederholungskurt at Turtmann with Hunters. A great experience, especially as nearby Raron was active as well.

WK93 was the last with Hunters at Turtmann.

Fliegerstaffel 20 Hunter seen during a visit to Emmen. The stairs used to put the dragchute in the aircraft proved very useful for taking pictures as well.

This was the last Wiederholungskurs at Meiringen that was flown with the Hunter. Late 1994 the Hunter was withdrawn from the Swiss inventory.
