The US Army operated this Otter (58-1682) 1958 - 73. The aircraft was with the University of Tennessee Space Institute 1974 - 75 until it stalled on take-off and was severely damaged. Bought by Ontario Central Airlines and re-built, it was put into service June 1977. Occasionally leased out, it had a forced landing into trees with Alexandair in 1990. Flying again in 1994, River Air bought the big bush plane in 1996, It had a Texas Turbine conversion (the fourth one) in 2002 and it current with River Air at the time of uploading.

Returning to base at Kenora after a sightseeing flight over Lake of the Woods. Delivered new, in 1948, to the Province of Manitoba Air Division, where it served until 1970. Joined River Air in 2006, having flown with other Kenora operators since 1978.

Ex CF-JEI. Registered to Kenora Air Service Ltd 26 July 1979 and to River Air Ltd 21 July 2017 which was after the date of the photo despite it already carrying River Air titles.
