from my collection, photographer unknown. Location believed to be Coventry-Baginton (EGBE).

Ex G-18-203, registered G-APAU to the manufacturer -9 April 1957 to -1 July 1961. To Air Charter Ltd 26 July 1961, transferred to British United Air Ferries (later British Air Ferries) 13 April 1965 to -2 March 1971. To Midland Air Cargo 14 April 1971 to 28 September 1971. WFU at Lasham in 1973 and scrapped there in May 1975. Cancelled -5 December 1977 as PWFU.

On completion of overhaul at Southend. Re-entered service with Midland Air Cargo on 27 September 1971. C of A expired 1 October 1972, ferried to Lasham 15 September 1973 and broken up there in May 1975.

In the process of having the British registration etc. painted out, hence the masking paper around G-AMLP.

One of three Superfreighters bought from BAF a year earlier, although only this one and G-APAV entered service. Midland Air Cargo hoped to acquire the Transair Argosy fleet from Canada but this never materialised and the company ceased flying in early 1973
