Thia Noralpha was built in 1947 and flew with the Aero Club Rene Mouchotte at Ermenonville, Ile France Haute-Normandie as F-BLEZ. The registration was cancelled in 1965 and the following year joined the Belgian register as OO-RLR until this was in turn cancelled in August 1981. The plane passed into the ownership of a pirvate collector until he passed in 2009 and the frame came to the MM Park military museum (in which there is a world class collection of tanks).

This C-47 was built at Long Beach and was TOC with the USAAF as 41-18650. It later became I-VARO and then I-LICE (as a result of being left in Italy after WWII?) before joining the Aeronautica Militare at some point. After being SOC the plane was stored for some years at Rome - Guidonia (LIRG) before joining this museum in the Alsace region of France. I would be happy to add dates if anyone has more information.
