On display at the 1989 RAF Lakenheath Airshow. Leased to The Fighter Collection at Duxford. Carries different markings on the starboard side, with the name "Candyman". Taken on strength by the USAAF in February 1945 as 44-73149. Transferred to the RCAF in 1947 as a Mustang TF.IV, 9568. Put into storage in 1954. Civilian career from 1957 included air racing in the 1970s.

On display at RAF Lakenheath's 1989 Open House, in Soviet colours as "53 white". Operated by The Fighter Collection, Duxford. Originally built for the USAAF as 44-4393. Used for air racing in the USA postwar, latterly in overall red colours. Brought to the UK in 1988. Lost in a sadly fatal crash in 1990 after leaving La Ferte-Alais in France to return to Duxford.
