The Mercury Chic T-2 was a lightweight aircraft designed and built by Mercury Aircraft Co. of Hammondsport, NY. First flight was in 1928, and about 27 were built. Due to the economic depression in the 1930s only 15 were sold and the rest were scrapped. On loan to the museum from Mercury Aircraft Co. FAA registration long expired.
