Recently restored. In 1937 the CW-19 took part in a goodwill flight visiting fourteen countries in Latin America in 1937 in company with three Stinson SR9s from the Cuban Air Force. The flight was initiated by President Frederico Bru of Cuba and President Rafael Trujillo of the Dominican Republic to raise publicity and funds for a monument to commemorate Cristobal Colon (Christopher Columbus). Sadly the Dominican aircraft was the only survivor of the expedition, the three Stinsons crashing into mountainous terrain in bad weather near Cali, Colombia.

A CW-19R multi-purpose aircraft for Cuba, presumably pictured before delivery. We found some information suggesting that five examples, 50 through 54, arrived in Cuba in August 1937, and that the serials had already been changed when three of them paid a visit to Mexico in September 1938.
