The A10 Wamira was an indigenous design for a two-seat, side-by-side, turboprop trainer to replace the Macchi MB326 trainers operated by the RAAF. Designed in the early 1980s, construction of a prototype was well advanced when the project was cancelled in favour of the Pilatus PC-9. The prototype was stored for many years at the RAAF Museum, Point Cook before being acquired by the Moorabbin Aviation Museum in 2019 to add to their impressive collection of Australian designed and built aircraft.
