The Pander E was a sport and training sesquiplane first flown in 1926. PH-AFN was owned by Co van Tijen, export manager of Van Houten's chocolate factory. He flew solo to the Netherlands East Indies in this light aircraft, Adelaar (eagle) in 1930. He became general manager at Fokker in 1935.
