VH-FDR at an outback airstrip after its Gipsy engines had been replaced by Lycomings. It crashed at Thargomindah, Queensland, on January 5, 1966, when directional control was lost on takeoff. Fuselage now at the Queensland Air Museum with a Gipsy engine fitted. This photo was added on 9 July 2019, and has since been viewed 835 times. |
