US Navy 46645 built 1945, to N10013 registered May 1956, to CF-IZO registered June 1956, in 1983 reregistered C-FIZO. In 1990 it was sold to the Forsvarsmuseet at Oslo-Gardermoen and later it went to Bodø for display in the Norsk Luftfartsmuseum. As Norway never had the PBY-6A with the tall fin this aircraft was restored in 1994 with the smaller fin of the PBY-5A and painted as RAF FP535 to commemorate the real FP535 that served with 330 (Norwegian) Sqn and that had disappeared in Nov 1942 near Iceland This photo is copyright © Peter Vercruijsse, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
