This DeHavilland Canada license built Tracker was taken on strength by the Royal Canadian Navy December 29, 1959. It received this serial in June 1970 after the unification of Canada's military branches. Withdrawn and loaned to the IMP Group Ltd. and registered as C-GTRT for turbo Tracker conversion (P&W PT-6 engines) development for the CAF.
