Got a highly memorable ride on this from SEN to RTM - the Captain wanted to give the F/O some practice so he made him take off with his windscreen completely obscured by a clipboard. I recall the church at the end of Southend's 5250ft runway 24 looming up ahead and thinking this was starting to look very scary! Originally United's 'Cargoliner Chicago' (N37592) in 1956 and then to Fred Olsen as LN-FOL ten years after.
