With several operators before joining Air Haiti in Dec 74 as N8863. Re reg HH-AHC in Dec 77. Among other subsequent operators it was later also with Bellomy Lawson as N89BL. Written off 29 Sep 91 operating as HK-3238 with Coral Colombia. Details taken from the ASN report: The Curtiss C-46A cargo plane took off from Villavicencio-La Vanguardia Airport, Colombia for a flight to Mitú. Shortly after takeoff the no. 2 engine oversped. The crew attempted to return to the airport. Unable to reach the airport, the aircraft force landed. The aircraft ran through a ditch and broke up.
