This is an Avro Anson RCAF serial number. The true identity is ex RAF AJ643. It is owned by the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in a non-airworthy condition and was seen inside the affiliated Art Smith Aero Centre. The open day was because they were hosting the visit of Avro 683 Lancaster B.10 KB726 (C-GVRA).
