To FTG - Air Service Flugcharter Mar 89. Written off 24 Feb 90. The aircraft departed Cologne-Bonn Airport on a local training flight. While simulating stalls at a relative low altitude, the crew encountered problems with both engines. After the left engine caught fire and then separated, the crew elected to make an emergency landing in an open field near Bergisch Gladbach, about 13 km north of Cologne Airport. The crew survived but the aircraft was destroyed. This photo is copyright © Danny Grew, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
