On display at RNAS Yeovilton Air Day 2013. This Jet Provost was built at Warton in 1969, being the third production example. It first went to the Central Flying School (CFS) where it flew with the unit's aerobatics team "The Red Pelicans". After upgrade to a T.5A, it was assigned to RAF Cranwell, then to No. 1 Flying Training School (1FTS), to 3FTS and back to 1FTS before being withdrawn from service in 1993. Sold into private hands, this Jet Provost remains airworthy. This photo is copyright © Arjun Sarup, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
