United Air Lines was taking delivery of Boeing 727s from the first aircraft going into airline service in October 1963 until their last in July 1980. This one was delivered July 27, 1978 and was in the fleet until November 2001. Stored at Victorville, CA, the airliner was finally sold to LJH Aviation Management Services Corp. in June 2005 and broken up at Phoenix Goodyear Airport in Arizona a year later.
