This 742 was originally delivered to Singapore Airlines in May 1980 as 9V-SQN. It joined Virgin Atlantic in March 1989 and is pictured taxying out to rw16 for departure back to London. In December 1994 the plane then went to Tower Air as N616FF before cargo conversion and time with UPS (N525UP) and Kalitta Air (N703CK). Note there were two N703CK 747s and it was the other one (cn19727) that was painted up as 'Air Force One' in the movie of that name. This N703CK was ferried to Oscoda in February 2013 and subsequently scrapped. This photo is copyright © Alastair T. Gardiner, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
