This was the star of the show for me. This new-build, but largely genuine Focke-Wulf Fw 190 ditched into the sea off Hyères, Cote d'Azur after the engine stopped during a display and mock dogfight with a Spitfire. The pilot escaped unhurt. Whilst the aircraft was substantially damaged it has been restored and flies again as D-FWAA This photo is copyright © Mick Bajcar, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
