This Flug Werk 190 was built at Ingolstadt - Manching (ETSI) and was the 21st of the type to be completed. The plane then underwent an extensive flight test programme as D-FWSE before being ferried to Sweden in June 2017. Due to regulatory requirements the FW-190 (note the capital FW designation is a deliberate differentiator from the Fw used by the Focke-Wulf WWII originals) had to adopt a Swedish registration, whilst the owners work towards an airworthiness clearance. In the meantime the plane provides an interesting new exhibit to be viewed during the normal opening hours.

This Flug Werk reproduction of FW-190 was formerly register in France as F-AZZJ. It ditched in the bay of Hyeres, France, on June 12, 2010, during an event to commemorate the centenary of Aéronautique Navale. Pilot escaped unhurt. After being recovered from the water, the aircraft was sold to the German Hangar10 organisation, based at Zirchow, and was restored to airworthy condition by Meier Motors. On display at the Tri-State Warbird Museum. Previously painted as Maj. Heinz Bär's Red 13, White 4 now carries no Jagdwaffe emblem on the fuselage. This is a new-build Fw-190A-8/N (neu) that came with an original Arado Flugzeugwerke plate for WNr583661 that was manufactured in 1944. One of a batch of 16 produced by Flug Werk GmbH, most were equipped with the ASch-82T engine. The engine of this Fw-190 was replaced with a P&W R-2800-57. It was donated to the museum in Dec. 2007.

Based in South Carolina with owner Bob Russell. Built by Flug Werk at Gammelsdorf, Munich and fitted with a Russian Shvetsov Ash-82 engine, a copy of the Wright R-1820 Cyclone. I believe the engine was sourced from a Petlyakov Pe-2 bomber. The same radial was used in the Li-2 and Il-14 airliners.

Based in South Carolina with owner Bob Russell. Built by Flug Werk at Gammelsdorf, Munich and fitted with a Russian Shvetsov Ash-82 engine, a copy of the Wright R-1820 Cyclone. I believe the engine was sourced from a Petlyakov Pe-2 bomber. The same radial was used in the Li-2 and Il-14 airliners.

This new-build, but largely genuine Focke-Wulf Fw 190 ditched into the sea off Hyères, Cote d'Azur after the engine stopped during a display and mock dogfight with a Spitfire. The pilot escaped unhurt. Whilst the aircraft was substantially damaged it has been restored and flies again as D-FWAA
