Aircraft squadron VSQ 7 flew Fireflies in then Netherlands New Guinea as late as December 1961. 005 was 16-33 (P-33) in the serial system used until 1959. The Dutch navy ran Boeroekoe (Borokoe) airfield, close to Mokmer (WABB) but separate.
