This pic was included in the estate of the late Peter Baeten. I doubt if many of the ca. 100 pics were Peter's own work. Only two slide mounts carried the names of the maker. This Firefly FR.4 is having a full throttle test of its Griffon engine, whilst the Fairey engineer stands by with no ear protection - typical of the era! VG962 was then modified at Ringway as a TT.4 target tug, making its first flight as such on 20.10.52.
