K64 slide scan. Built 1944 as 42-100983 for USAAF. Civilianized as PP-XAS 1945, REAL PP-YPA 1946, IDFAF 4X-FNH/017 1959. Basler N471DK 2003, converted to BT-67 msn 62 by 2015 as C-FGCX for Kenn Borek, operating for China National Antarctic Research Expedition. IDFAF 120 sqn surplus Dakotas N471DK (ex 017) and N472DK (ex 022) were being ferried in formation from Israel to the USA for Basler Turbo Conversions, routing Split-Nuremberg-Wick that day.
