Built in 1946 as Sea Fury F.X TF925 and delivered to 807 Squadron RN FAA. Transferred to 805 Squadron RAN but damaged in Feb 49 and rebuilt by Hawker as an FB.11 and re-serialled VW232. Sent to Australia as a ground training airframe. In 1959 acquired by Sydney Technical College as a training aid with incorrect ident VX730, which it wears to this day. In 1966 sold to the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences & placed on display at Camden Museum of Aviation 74-77. Swapped by the Australian War Memorial for a DC-3 in 1983 & restored 1999-2000.
