Gear just starting to come up...This aircraft was built to an RAF order as EX184 and allocated USAAC serial 41-33157 for administrative purposes. It was diverted to New Zealand where it entered service as NZ1006 in Sep 1942. Demobbed in 1978, shipped to Australia and stored at Albury til 1981. Acquired by Randal McFarlane for restoration at Bankstown 82-86, first flight 10 May 86. Owned during 1988-90 by aerobatic ace Chris Sperou, then moved to Alice Springs and Kalgoorlie.
