Royton Air Training Corps (1855 Squadron) acquired this Meteor NF(T)14 after the type was retired from 1 Air Navigational School. From the 100 Meteor NF14 built, 14 were converted for use in training RAF Navigators. Initially at RAF Thorney Island with 2 ANS from June 1959 to early 1962, then moving to RAF Stradishall as 1 ANS until replaced by Dominie T1 in late 1965.
