Flight deck view of D-CDLH showing the relatively modern instrumentation of this old lady. The original D-AQUI was built for Lufthansa at Dessau. First flown on April 6, 1936, it was delivered our days later use on the Copenhagen-Gothenburg-Oslo coastal route. July 1 that year, it passed on to Det norske Luftfartsselskap as LN-DAH. After serving with Lufthansa during WW2, it was returned to DNL after a post-war rebuild as LN-KAF and joined SAS' fleet when that airline was established in 1946 serving there the next ten years, This photo is copyright © Kjell O Granlund - Scanavphoto, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
