The third of three Twin Otters built for TABA (Transportes Aéreos Buenos Aires S.A.) not delivered due the airline's financial difficulties, it went instead to Aeronaves de Mexico in December 1968. Sold in February 1978 to a broker in the USA, the aircraft entered West Coast Airline's fleet in May. Merged into Air West to form Air BC in 1980, the aircraft was sold to Ashe Aircraft Enterprises in 1992. Many leases followed before it was registered in the USA as N186AL in 1995. The aircraft is the center of a legal dispute and has been stored since 2009. This photo is copyright © Gary Vincent, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
