This B-25C was assigned to the 70 BS / 42 BG. The picture was not an "official" USAAF photo, instead being taken by an unidentified crew member during a practice mission over Fiji. At the time, the squadron was transitioning from the B-26 Marauder to the B-25. The photo was sourced from the personal memorabilia of a pilot who flew with the 70 BS.
