MBB Helicopter Canada Limited was an official corporate sponsor of Expo 86 and provided the 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communications in Vancouver, BC with a MBB BK 117A-3, C-GMCL, for VIP use. The helicopter was operated by ALC Airlift Corp. of Pitt Meadows, BC from the Expo 86 heliport on False Creek in downtown Vancouver. After Expo 86, ALC converted the BK117 to an air ambulance for on use on its STARS contract in Alberta. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
