This aircraft was built for the US Navy in 1942 as a GB-2, Bu 12342. Post-war it was civilianised as N397, later N1532M. It came to Australia in 2006, being registered VH-UUV on 9 February that year (see my photo of it in that guise). Exported back to the USA and then again to Australia, this time as VH-FNS.
