Derived from the Lancaster, the Avro York first flew in 1942 and was intended as a post-war military and civilian airliner. A total of 259 were built and there are only two survivors, the other being in the RAF Museum Cosford Collection. Seen here in the AirSpace hangar at Duxford which is tightly packed.
