About to go transatlantic to St John, NB (together with N17683). Entered military service in 1961 as G305 of the Ghana Air Force at Takoradi, retiring in 1973. When phogtographed, the Otter was owned by Air Craftsmen Ltd of St John, NB who specialised in buying and refurbishing ex-mil Otters, and then selling them on to commercial operators. N17682 then became C-GCLP, operating on Canada's Pacific Coast. After Vazar turbine conversion, it re-entered Harbour Air's service in 2006. Photographed it again in 2010 at Vancouver, in red maple leaf colours for Canada's Winter Olympics. This photo is copyright © David A.
