The last Argus built by Canadair is pictured out back of the National Aeronautical Collection hangar (now Canada Aviation and Space Museum). The last operational Argus flight was flown November 10, 1980 and the type retired. This aircraft made the last flight of any Argus on February 10, 1982 when it was delivered to the Museum for display. Stored outside until moved into the museum's new hangar in 2005, it has undergone some restoration to repair the damage done by weather. The aircraft is back outside, partially cocooned at the time of uploading. This photo is copyright © Gary Vincent, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
