'Mekong Moon' backtracking after another warbird adventure flight at the Wide Bay International Airshow. Built as a T-28A to a USAF order as 51-7521. Later rebuilt as AT-28D for the Royal Lao AF. Retired 1975, left derelict until acquired and shipped to Australia December 1988. Restored by Guido Zuccoli at Darwin from 1989-92, then sold to Arthur Schmidt 1993. Registered VH-DUK on 5 August 1993 and made first post-restoration flight shortly afterwards. Now based at Toowoomba with Aerotec.
